THE LATE MRS G L HALL
The death was reported on Thursday of Mrs Gladys Lilian Hall, daughter of Mr & Mrs George Taylor of 95 Rynal Place, Evesham. Mrs Hall had been in failing health for a number of years and it was because of this that she had given up her work at Willmott’s Ltd, Evesham, where she was a popular employee. Ten years ago she married Mr George Alfred Hall, son of Mrs and the late Mr Maurice Hall of Badsey. Mr Hall was a victim of an air raid in September 1940.
The late Mrs Hall was a member of the Mission Hall, Evesham, and her many friends at Evesham and Badsey will sympathise with her parents and family. The funeral will take place at Badsey on Saturday at 2.30.

The funeral took place at Badsey on Saturday of Mrs Gladys Lilian Hall, daughter of Mr & Mrs George Taylor of 95 Rynal Place, Evesham, whose death was reported last week. She was the widow of Mr George Alfred Hall of Badsey who was killed during an air raid in 1940. Mourners were: Mr George Taylor (father), Miss Margaret Taylor (sister), Sgt G Taylor, Worcestershire Regiment (brother), Mrs Clara L Taylor (sister-in-law), Mrs C Hall (mother-in-law), Mrs B Sheward (sister-in-law), Mr & Mrs J Cook (uncle and aunt), Mrs E Turner, Mrs R Sheppard and Mrs A Haines (aunts), and Mrs B Haines (cousin). Mrs Taylor (mother) was unable to attend owing to illness. Also in church were Mr & Mrs E Russell and Mrs E Rachel representing the Bewdley Street Mission Hall of which Mrs Hall was a popular member. Bearers were Messrs Clifford and Basil Hall, S Sheward and E Smith (brother-in-law).
