1915 postcard sent by Norris Haines

Postcard sent 18th August 1915 by Norris Haines to his wife, Flo:  “Tracteur Panhard pur pièce de 90, Panhard tractor for 90 gun”.  The tractor was produced between 1911 and 1918 by the French manufacturer Panhard and was one of the first all-wheel drive trucks used by the French military.

Dear Flo, Just a line in answer to your letter card, it is nice to have a view of old Evesham, I would like to be their (sic) just for a day or two but their (sic) is not much chance.  Just get well, dear Flo.  I am still in the pink.  Hopsing this will find you all well at home with Best Love from Nod xxxxxxxxxxxx.  Write soon.  Love Doll xxxxxx, Peg xxxxxx
