Dear Cyril
Many thanks for your letter. I hope to answer it tomorrow but cannot say for certain. It is lecture night tonight and as there is no particular news I am postponing writing until I have more free time. So sorry about your feet. I know from experience how trying it is because one naturally puts more strain on other muscles to relieve pressure on one’s feet. I heard from Wilfred’s fiancée this morning. She had had not news of or from him since he went to German SW Africa. Aunt J is doing the same this month as she did last [?]. I am not so short [??] she might be me.
Best love from
Mela
