Nov 4th 1915
After an unexpectedly long wait I leave this morning to rejoin. I had a lot of letters three days ago, including one from Mother dated Sept 23rd and from you dated Sept 29th. The mails have been slow coming out here lately; it will be an advantage being with the regiment as I shall get them in the shortest possible time and regularly. I had intended writing today, but must put it off. The weather is fairly warm again now.
