My dearest Julius
I have come over to spend the day with Fanny & as she is engaged for a few minutes I will write a few lines to acknowledge your letter & tell you that you may expect me on Friday by the train which stops at Badsey station, I forget what time exactly as I have not the time table with me, but it is the one you recommended.
I have had a letter from Charlotte this morning & am so sorry to hear that Kittie Potter can’t come over to your Mother after all, so I’m afraid Charlotte won’t get her holiday, I am so sorry as I feel sure she requires a change & wish I could think of some plan to allow her to get away, however we must try & think of something when I get home, the worst of it is, that I am afraid Grandma would not care to have a stranger, or else it would not be very difficult to find somebody.
Give my love to Kathleen & Georgie & thank them for their letters, love to all the others. Fanny sends her love to you, she is looking very well
With much love
Believe me
Your loving wife
