My Dearest Wife,
I have only just time to save post. Your two letters came to hand this morning as they omitted to deliver the one here by afternoon post. I shall expect to hear to-morrow morning where I am to meet you. The children are very well and jolly they enjoyed their tea at Mrs Savory’s and were very good I hear.
Shall be so glad to come up, my pet, to-morrow with fondest love I am your affectionate Husband
Julius Sladden
The babies both send kisses.
