My Dearest Wife,

I got your letter this morning and am glad to find you are enjoying the changes, the three elder children are very jolly and enjoyed going to Mrs Savory’s yesterday.  I enclose a letter from Mrs Byrch, also one from Ash and another from Aunt George, read Mother’s first as it will help explain the other, I think the projected arrangements will fit in very well, however you can reply on your return.  I gave the children your kisses this morning I think they will be glad to see you back as also will somebody else, they are really very good.  I hope baby is conducting herself with propriety, give her a kiss for me.

I suppose I shall hear to-morrow morning if you have arranged to stay till Thursday.  With much love believe me ever

Your affectionate Husband

Julius Sladden
