My dear Kathleen,
I will enclose Miss Milman’s letter which will explain about your lodgings, Mother has booked a bed for you for 25th and two following nights and I will pay your expenses for the occasion, of course you may not want to take all your meals at that place, it cannot be very far from Jack which will suit well, as I should like him to escort you to and fro during such a busy time in London, if I were you I should write to Jack to ask him what is the earliest time he could met you at Waterloo on 25th and to fix a rendezvous within the station in case he misses you at the barrier, then take your heavy luggage on to Paddington and deposit it in the cloak room or perhaps better still send it on to Evesham as luggage in advance, I suppose your small box will serve you while in London, of course you will come down on the Saturday morning.
George is to have a shake down at Jack’s lodgings, so you ought to have a jolly time together, of course there will be no chance of getting near the Abbey on 26th I do not think it would be desirable to attempt it but you must try and see some of the illuminations that night, on Thursday you must make an early start and consult with Jack as to the best place to attempt a view of the procession, take some provender in your pockets and some wine in a flask, do not take your watch or any valuables, if you are not too exhausted that night you might try and see more illuminations but don’t … [PAGES OMITTED FROM COPYING IN ERROR]

PS – If you could send your heavy luggage from Egham you might be able to travel with your small box by underground and save cab fare.
