George WOOLLOFF (1887-1916)
Biographical Details
George Woolloff (1887-1916) was the brother of Ada Woolloff who was maid to the Sladden family at Seward House.
George was born at Charlton, Worcestershire, the fifth of nine children of Richard Woolloff, a cowman, and his wife, Harriett (née King).
He joined the 2nd Battalion of the Worcestershire Regiment. He was killed in action on 21st August 1916 on the Somme; his name is recorded on the Thiepval Memorial.
