Emily Margaret Cecilia UPPLEBY (later SAUNDERS) (1898-1934)

Emily Margaret Cecilia Uppleby (1898-1934), known as Cecilia, was the cousin of Mela Brown Constable (the fiancée of Cyril Sladden).

Cecilia Uppleby was born at Barrow on Humber, Lincolnshire, in 1898, the only child of George Crowle Uppleby, Vicar of Barrow, and his wife, Margaret Augusta (née Brown Constable).

Cecilia married William Morley Saunders on 27th January 1918 at Melling, near Hornby, Lancashire.  She died in Leeds in 1934, pre-deceasing her parents.  Her widowed husband later remarried.
