Details of Will
I William Bishop of Badsey give:
- All my two cottages with the orchard and appurtenances at Badsey aforesaid now in my own occupation and which were devised to me by the will of my late father Henry Bishop of Badsey aforesaid deceased and also all that piece or parcel or arable land called the Butts and containing 3½ acres or thereabouts lying and being in Badsey Field and which said piece of land was devised to me by the will of my late brother Henry Bishop of Bengeworth deceased and also all that my messuage or cottage with the yard outbuildings and appurtenances in the parish of Bengeworth which I formerly purchased of my said brother Henry Bishop and now in the occupation of John Stevens and also all that my messuage or cottage with the garden outbuildings and appurtenances situate at a place called Bishops Corner in the parish of Bengeworth and which were devised to me by the will of my brother Henry Bishop And also all those my newly erected cottages at Bishops Corner and all and singular other my lands tenements hereditaments and real estates whatsoever and wheresoever unto and to the only use of my son William Henry Bishop his heirs and assigns for ever.
- Subject to the payment of my just debts and funeral and testamentary expense, I give and bequeath all and singular my personal estate and effects good chattels and credits and all my ready money and securities for money unto my son William Henry Bishop.
- I give all estates which shall be vested in me at the time of my decease upon any trusts or by way of mortgage unto my son William Henry Bishop for his heirs executors administrators and assigns to hold the same according to the natures and qualities thereof respectively but subject to the equities affecting the same.
