  • To my dear wife Mary Byrd all and singular my personal estate be the same of what nature or kind soever and wheresoever to hold to her for and during the term of her natural life to and for the support of my said wife and also for the maintenance clothing educating and bringing up of my dear children James Byrd, Mary Byrd and Elizabeth Byrd
  • After the decease of my wife I give my personal estate to my children James Mary and Elizabeth to be equally divided amongst them

Executor:  My brother-in-law, Samuel Cormell of Honeyborne, yeoman; my cousin Charles Mayo of Evesham maltster; William Barnes of Evesham, parchment maker together with my wife Mary Byrd to be joint executors.
