I Benjamin Smith of Badsey being advanced in years but of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding, give:
- To my son Samuel Smith, subject to the mortgage upon and now affecting the same, All that my messuage or tenement with the water corn mill, outbuildings, gardens, orchards and closes or incloses, grounds of meadows or pasture, land thereto adjoining and belonging situate in the parish of Broadway and called by the name of the Lower Mill and now in the occupation of the said Samuel Smith and all other my real estate in the parish of Broadway. Expressly charge the same with the payment of the following annuities and legacies: payment of one annuity or clear yearly rent charge or sum of rent charge of £5 of lawful British money to be issuing and payable by my said son Samuel Smith out of the same hereditaments and premises unto my daughter, Ann White, widow, who now resides with me without any deduction whatsoever by four equal quarterly payments in each and every year in the following days and times, that is to say upon the 25th day of March, the 24th day of June, the 29th day of September and the 25th day of December, the first payment thereof to begin and be made upon such of those days as shall first next happen after my decease.
