I, Anthony Smyth of Badsey, miller, being aged and inform in body but of sound and perfect mind memory, give:

  • To my grandchild Johannah Rawlins one round table one willowboard wrought work needle works and one cupboard hath wrought with needle work
  • To my son John Smyth the sum of £10 to be paid to him within the ten years after my decease and Mary my now wife
  • To my beloved son Joseph Smyth All that my Mill house and all those my water courses floodgates millponds etc and appurtenances to the Mill House water Corn Mill belonging the same now occupied or enjoyed and situate in Badsey And also all other my messuage Millhouse mills lands to have and to hold the same to him after the death of me and the death of Mary my now wife
  • Joseph Smyth shall pay and discharge All such debt that shall be due from me to any person
  • Mary my now wife shall have hold and enjoy to her own use all such goods chattels and implements of household
