EVESHAM MILITARY PARADE

On Saturday a detachment of the 8th Battalion Worcestershire Regiment, about 100 strong, accompanied by the Worcestershire Yeomanry band, journeyed to Honeybourne by train and marched through Bretforton and Badsey to Evesham. At Badsey they were joined by the Northern Wireless Signal Section of the Royal Engineers and members of the Evesham and District Volunteer Training Corps and the Evesham Territorial band.

Tea was provided by subscription in the Public Hall, Evesham, and afterwards the Mayoress distributed badges to local men who volunteered for service but were rejected on medical grounds.
