Terry Sparrow will talk about the origin and development of market gardening in Badsey.  He will begin with how market gardening started initially in Evesham, then talk about the reasons for change in Badsey and the development of market gardening from the late 19th century and the resulting population increase.  His talk will cover details of the crops grown, marketing and the growing of medicinal herbs in the First World War.
