Details of Will

I, Marion Horsman of Aldington Lodge, spinster, give:

•    To the Governors of Evesham Hospital for the benefit of that institution, the sum of £200.

•    To Gertrude Augusta Hunt now residing with me, the sum of £500.

•    To Jane Fowler, daughter of Henry Fowler of Evesham, and her sister, Elizabeth Fowler, the sum of £200 each.

•    To Katherine Bomford, eldest daughter of John and Mary Bomford of Sheriffs Lench, the sum of £100.

•    To Edith Mary Lowe, daughter of the late Edmund Douglas Lowe of Evesham, the sum of £200.

•    To my cousin, Edith Daisy Baker, daughter of the late William Edward Baker, the sum of £500.

•    To my friend, Bertha Sisterson of Evesham, Dispenser of Medicine, the sum of £100.

•    To Raymond Webb, the sum of £100.

•    To my Trustees, all my real and personal estate, upon the trusts following:

•    As to my freehold messuage and premises in Croft Road, Evesham which I have recently purchased from the representatives of the late Sarah Letitia Bomford and also all my furniture, plate, linen, china, prints, pictures and household effects upon trust for the said Gertrude Augusta Hunt for her life, she keeping the same in good repair and condition and insured against loss by fire and after the death of Gertrude Augusta Hunt, upon trust for the said Edith Daisy Baker absolutely.

•    As to all the rest, residue and remainder of my real and personal estate upon trust to sell, call in and convert the same into money and out of the proceeds to pay the aforesaid legacies and the legacy duties thereon and all my debts including unpaid purchase money (if any) of the messuage and premises in Croft Road, funeral and testamentary expenses and to invest the net proceeds upon trust to pay to or permit my said brother to receive the income to arise from such investments during his life and at his death to stand possessed of the said residuary estate and the investments thereon upon trust for his child or children who shall attain the age of 21 years and if more than one in equal shares.  And in default of such child or children upon trust for my cousin Sallie Thomason of Rathdonnell, Brisbane, Australia, daughter of Henry Williams Thomas and Evelyn Thomason.
