1952 – Newspaper article about Harry Stewart meeting BBC commentator, Richard Dimbleby

Page from The Evesham Standard, dated 18th January 1952, with an article entitled:  “The Story behind a Broadcast:  Evesham ‘Down your Way’ this weekend, Richard Dimbleby meet some of the ‘Locals’.”  The ‘Locals’ included Harry Stewart and Councillor F J Masters, both of whom appear in a photograph with Richard Dimbleby and the producer, Gordon Williams.  Interviews with 11 local inhabitants were recorded in total at the Northwick Hotel.  “Mrs Stewart, Hill Crest, Benge Hill” is written in pencil at the top of the page.
