3. Transcribing the enclosure documents

One of the first jobs was to transcribe the enclosure schedules. Eighteen volunteers helped Maureen Spinks type in the 24,264 words of the Badsey Award Schedules and the 9,638 words of the Aldington Award Schedules. The picture shows Maureen and Irene Grose-Hodge holding actual-size copies.
