In the afternoon, races and games were held on the cricket ground: a slow bicycle race, tug of war, wheelbarrow race, bowls, soak a bloke, welly wanging and greasy pole. The cheerleaders were Liz Goldstraw , Sylvia Stewart?, Caroline Addis, Jo Caswell, Caroline Watkins, Nicky Cleaver.
