Edmund and Eva Cooke

Edmund Cooke is to the left of Mr King,(the bowler in the picture), and his wife, Eva, is on the right.  They lived in Robin Cottage, Manor Road, for a number of years from the 1940s.  He served in the R.A.F. and information on this can be found in the section on Wickhamford men who served in WW2.  An article concerning Eva Cooke is entitled 'Bengeworth book leads to uncovering of the lives of two local women'. He died in 1969 and she in 1976 and they are buried in Wickhamford Cemetery.
