Julius Sladden and siblings

Studio portrait of Julius Sladden (standing left) and his sister and three brothers.  Francis Nixon Sladden (1843-1909) is pictured standing right, and seated, left to right:  George Coleman Sladden (1840-1909), Charlotte Mary Hayward (1849-1918), Dilnot Sladden (1842-1906).  The photo was taken on 29th September 1902 when Dilnot Sladden, who had settled in New Zealand in about 1860, was visiting the old country on holiday.  Julius Sladden refers to the photo in a letter to his wife of that date.
