The Royal family traditionally spend Christmas and New Year at Sandringham House where they exchange gifts on Christmas Eve and attend the morning service at St Mary Magdalene’s Church.
Sandringham on Christmas Day. The Queen’s Christmas broadcast is an intrinsic part of Christmas Day Festivities that reflects current issues and chronicles the national, global and personal events affecting Queen and country. The Queen has made her speech at 3 pm every Christmas since 1952, and it was first televised in 1957.
