Fruit-growing in Avon Valley

These two maps show the increase in fruit growing in the Avon Valley over 100 years.  The 1831 map, based on the first Ordnance Survey map, shows a concentration of production around Evesham.  The 1932 map shows the increase in acreage and the predominance of plum orchards.
