YOUNG LADIES TO WORK IN THE GARDENS

If there are any women in Evesham or the neighbourhood whose husbands or sons are on active service, and who experience a difficulty in gathering the fruit and vegetable crops on land in their occupation will kindly communicate with Mrs Rudge, of Abbey Manor, she hopes to be able to arrange for assistance to be rendered them. A number of young ladies who have had experience in this kind of work are most anxious to “do their bit,” and Mrs Rudge will doubtless be able to arrange for most valuable help to be given if particulars of the necessity are made known to her. This certainly is a practical way of helping the families of those who are fighting the Empire’s battles.
