My Dearest Wife,
There is no news in particular but I will send Charlotte’s letter on which may interest you. Ethel thanks you for your letters, glad Baby is getting on well. There is an invitation to a garden party at Mrs Hope's for Tuesday, which I will answer, perhaps Jack & I may go. It rained steadily last night but is fine again this morning.
