My dear Mother

How bad of you to get another cold, though I feel afraid that it may have been my fault for carrying one about with me.

I intend to come down tomorrow by the 6.15 train and to stay over until Monday. This has been a heavy week of travel, and I haven't seen as much of Rosie as I should have liked. I have been to Addlestone and Folkestone, and today I am going over to Mottingham.

My time is getting horribly short now. How I hate all Germans!

I hope to find you going on well when I see you.
