I, Pearcy Grove of Badsey, being very sick and weak in body but of sound memory and judgement (thanks be to God for the same), give my soul into the hands of God who made me and my body to the ground to be decently interred at the discretion of my executor. As for those worldly goods which which it hath pleased God to bless me, I dispose of them in manner following:
- To my brother John Grove of Bishampton the sum of £20 to be paid by my executor within three months after my decease
- To my sister Mary wife of Joseph Jones the sum of £30 to be laid out in land or otherwise at the discretion of my executor paying her in the meantime 40 shillings yearly fee
- To my sister Martha Grove the sum of £50 to be paid by my executor within 3 months after my decease
- To John Taylor the sum of 10 shillings
- To Richard Davis 10 shillings, both which sums I will to be paid by my executor immediately upon my decease
- To my brother Francis Grove everything not otherwise disposed of and expressed in this present will (except only my household goods and linen which I give to my sister Martha Grove)
