WEDDING
The marriage was solemnised at St James' church on Saturday afternoon of Miss Annie Louisa Sandford, third daughter of Mr and the late Mrs William Sandford, of No 11 Synehurst, Badsey, and Mr Herbert Fitzroy Newbury, only son of Mr and the late Mrs Herbert Newbury, of Childswickham. The ceremony was performed by the Vicar, Canon W C Allsebrook, RD.
The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a dress of turquoise blue ring velvet and hat to tone, and carried a bouquet of pink tulips and maidenhair fern. She was attended by Miss Mary Stephenson, who wore a grey costume with hat and shoes to tone, and a spray of pink carnations. Mr Sidney Keyte, the bridegroom's cousin, was best man. As Mr & Mrs Newbury were leaving the church the bride was presented with a silver horseshoe by Barry Bindoff, a nephew of the bridegroom. A reception was held at the bride's home. The bride is a native of Badsey and the bridegroom a native of Childswickham. For seven years he has been sexton at St Mary's Church, Childswickham. He is also a member of the Childswickham Social Club and takes a keen interest in sport, being at one time a playing member of both the Willersey and Childswickham soccer elevens.
Mr & Mrs Newbury will make their future home at No 11 Synehurst. Badsey. They were the recipients of numerous presents.

BADSEY WEDDING
The wedding took place at Badsey Parish Church on Saturday of Mr Herbert Fitzroy Newbury, son of Mr Herbert Newbury of Wells Gardens, Broadway, and Miss Annie Louisa Sandford, daughter of Mr William Sandford, of 11 Synehurst, Badsey. The bridegroom has been sexton at St. Mary's Church, Childswickham, for some years. The ceremony was performed by the Rev Canon W C Allsebrook (Rural Dean and Vicar of Badsey). The bridesmaid was Miss Mary Stephenson (friend of the bride), and the best man was Mr Sydney Keyte, of Childswickham (cousin of the bridegroom). A reception afterwards took place at the bride's home and about 60 guests attended. The happy couple received many presents.
