The wedding took place at St Michael's Church on Saturday of Miss Mary Rosetta O'Brien of 26 Synehurst, Badsey, niece of Mrs Morris, 27 Sycamore Road, Tipton, and Mr Eric Beadle, only son of Mr & Mrs C Beadle, 15 Leamington Road, Broadway.
The bride, who was given away by Mr R Taysom, looked charming in a gown of heavy satin with long veil held in pace by a wreath of orange blossom (the veil lent by a friend, Mrs Newman) and her bouquet was of white and pink carnations.

The funeral took place on Monday at Badsey Church, of Mr, George Henry Crane of 9 Synehurst, Badsey, who died on Thursday week at Avonside Hospital, Evesham. Aged 72, Mr Crane was the son of the late Mr & Mrs John Crane of South Littleton. He is survived by his wife, four sons and eight daughters.
The funeral service was conducted by the Rev W B Chapman and the organist was Mrs G H Marshall. The coffin was borne by members of the Ernie Thomas RA0B Lodge of which Mr Crane had been a member for 22 years.

A wedding of considerable interest took place on Boxing Day at St Ecgwin’s Church, Honeybourne, when Ruth, only daughter of Mr & Mrs Frederick Taylor, Bretforton Road, Honeybourne, was married to Deryck, son of Mrs and the late Mr K Knight of Synehurst, Badsey.

The wedding took place on Wednesday week at St Lawrence Church, Evesham, between Miss Marion Helen Elgar, second daughter of Mr & Mrs F Elgar, of 5 Sandfleld, Wyre, and Mr Reginald Welch, son of Mr J Welch and the late Mrs J Welch of 6 Synehurst, Badsey.
