My dear Julius,

Just a line to tell you that the theatre expedition is put off till Thursday, if Fred can get tickets, so you will come straight down here tomorrow.

You will have heard from Charlie Butler that they are going shooting on Friday, so I thought dear, you could start from here by an early train & breakfast at Surbiton, as they leave the house at half-past eight, & then I can take our traps over later on.

I am so glad the dear children keep well, poor little Jacky, I am afraid he will not quite like having neither Papa nor Mamma at home.

Give him & Baby a good kiss before you leave home from their little Mamma.  I am so looking forward to seeing you, darling, I long for a good kiss.

Now with fond love to you & the little trots

I am
Your loving wife

Eugénie N Sladden
