Surrey - Surbiton: Gloucester House, Claremont Road

Surbiton, formerly in Surrey, is an area within the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, which is now part of London.  

Gloucester House in Claremont Road, Surbiton, was the home of Eugenié Sladden’s sister, Fanny Butler, and family.  They moved to the house in early 1878 and lived there until September 1896 when they moved to Byfleet.  Six of their nine children were born at Gloucester House.
