My Dearest Wife,

You will expect a line to-morrow morning so I will post you a letter although I seem absolutely to have nothing to say.

I have sent George’s letter on, the weight was all right.  I fancy it will be better for you to come on to Evesham on Saturday as it will I find give us about the same time at Badsey and save fare by road but I will write you for certain to-morrow, I suppose you could not stop away so long as from 8.45 am to 4.0 pm, and I am afraid so early a start would be too tiring for you.  I hope you are feeling pretty well to-day and that the sore breast is getting on in a satisfactory manner.

Please kiss baby for me and with much love

I am
Ever your affectionate Husband

Julius Sladden
