Evesham
June 1/91
My Dearest Wife,
I have not much time to write this morning but will just send a line to acknowledge yours of Saturday, to hand, and to forward Jack’s letter together with a card from Fanny.
The weather is now lovely, a truly glorious first of June. The children are all quite well and send their love and kisses.
I am glad to have good news of Mother & Charlotte, my love to them, tell them I will defer writing for a few days as you can give them all the news. When do you leave for Richmond and will Fanny return from Paris in time to see you? Our train service is much altered and I will send you a time table shortly.
With much love I remain
Your affectionate Husband
