My Dear Wife,

Your letter only turned up this morning owing to Bank Holiday vagaries.

I propose to leave here to-morrow Wednesday and you may expect me by 10.30 P.M. as I shall drive down.

Jack & I had a good sight of the review and march past yesterday, the day was fine.

I will not write more as I want to get down to the sea this nice morning.

With much love to you all

I am as ever
Your affectionate Husband

Julius Sladden

I have a vile pen.
