My dearest Wife,

I slept at Sandwich last night and went to see Aunt Susan this morning, she was fairly well, Charlotte is going to-morrow, she stays here till Wednesday.  I am writing to May to arrange to meet her at New Cross about noon on Wednesday then I propose to take the 1.45 due at Evesham 4.13.  I will order a fly by post, then if it is fine you and Ethel and Juliet can come up if you like and drive home with us, but this is only a suggestion as it may not be practicable on account of weather or other causes, anyway I shall order the fly on a/c of luggage.

This afternoon C. & I have been by rail to Martin Mill and walked over to Guston to see John’s grave, it is fine and very warm.  I expect to hear from you to-morrow at Delph House, shall go back there with them from Rosway.

Love to all
Your affectionate Husband

Julius Sladden
