I, Thomas Grove of Aldington in the parish of Badsey, being of good and perfect memory mind and understanding but calling to remembrance the uncertainly of this life give:

  • To my son William Grove one shilling of mill’s? money
  • As to the rest of my lands tenements goods and chattels to my son Francis Grove
  • To my son’s grandsons, Thomas Knight and Thomas Cormell, Thomas Grove the son of William Grove, Thomas Grove the son of Francis Grove, half a crown a piece and desire the same bequest be taken part of my will above written
