1933 wedding – Doris Savage & Thomas Smith

Wedding of Doris Mary Savage and Eustace Thomas Smith (known as Tom) on 8th April 1933 at St James’ Church, Badsey.

Tom Smith (1911-1983) was from Bengeworth, the youngest of four children of Henry & Bessie Smith. Doris Mary Savage (1912-2000) was the younger of two children of Charles & Emily Savage of 2 South View, Brewers Lane, Badsey.  After initially living in Bengeworth, Doris and Thomas later moved to Badsey where they remained for the rest of their lives.  A report of their wedding appeared in The Evesham Standard.
