About

St James’ Church, Badsey

This event follows immediately after the annual Christmas carols outside The Wheatsheaf, organised by the Parish Council.  The Elemental Border Morris side, who are leading the lamplight procession, will lead people to the church where the concert is to be held.  They will dance outside until the start of the performance.  The bells will start ringing at 7.30 and the church will be open from 7.30 for you to come inside and warm yourself with tea/coffee and mince pies.  The concert will begin at 8 pm.  Musyck Anon is an Evesham-based “a cappella” group whose particular interest is in early music; they will perform in 17th-century costumes.  Entrance is free but please give freely at the end to Musyck Anon’s chosen charity, Children with Cancer UK.
