Dear old Juliet
I am so awfully sorry to hear of your great loss. I’m sure it is impossible to sympathise fully unless one has suffered in the same way – which I am thankful I haven’t – and so as it is only me, I’m sure you will understand and forgive this rotten letter. I do hope your brother is getting on well and that the others are safe.
Goodbye for now, come back soon. I will try not to be a beast this tem as I was before.
May God comfort you all. With best love and deepest sympathy.
From Marsh
