My Darling Wife,
Yours to hand I enclose letter recd. this morning. Am in great haste want to go down this aft and put in big bulbs, sat up till midnight preparing them. Shall start at noon may possibly stop at Oxford an hour if possible but hope to reach Surbiton in time for dinner to-morrow. Hope baby will soon lose his cold, give him a kiss and with lots for yourself
