About
We no longer had the staggeringly high temperatures of earlier in the week, but thankfully the rain held off. Jane Neill led us on a pleasant evening stroll in and around Broadway discovering the story of this beautiful village. Jane pointed out various places of interest, including the house where the Conservative MP, Sir Gerald Nabarro, once lived, and Court Farm, where Mary Anderson, an eminent Shakespearian actress of her day, once lived. We met outside The Lygon Arms and finished the evening at The Crown and Trumpet – a perfect end.
