My Dearest Eugénie,
I received your Monday’s letter by second post to-day. I did say something to Polly about May’s teeth, but as the former was in bed with a headache, the morning I left nothing was arranged, you had better write her if you think well. I saw Fanny & Charlie on Monday they were off to Torquay yesterday, Fanny seemed very well she actually talks of coming down for the bazaar. I hope Dayrell has attended properly to the mashing this week!
I find Mother fairly well, though somewhat more feeble, she sends her love. I am glad to have a good account of the chicks give them all a good kiss for me.
The weather here is dry with a cold wind. I saw Aunt Susan to-day and Frank looked in, I must go over to Deal soon.
Now I want to write a line to the Mayor about the Jubilee meeting so will conclude this, all friends send love and with much from myself
believe me ever
Your loving Husband
