Letters from Staff and Pupils at The Grove School, Highgate
Juliet Sladden, the youngest child of Julius and Eugénie Sladden, attended The Grove School, Highgate, London, from 1911-1916. The Worcestershire Archive and Archaeology Service at The Hive in Worcester contains ten letters of condolence written by schoolfriends and teachers in May/June 1916 following the death of Juliet’s mother on 30th April. Juliet kept in touch with some of these friends and there are also two letters of condolence from former schoolfriends written in December 1928 following the death of her father.
