St James’ Church, Badsey, was the scene of a charming wedding on Saturday between Miss Annie Mary Briffett, youngest daughter of Mrs C Briffett and the late Mr C Briffett of 6 Boat Lane, Evesham, and Mr Norman Walter Jelfs, only son of Mr & Mrs W H Jelfs of Sherwood Farm, Aldington.

The marriage took place at St James’ Church, Badsey, on Saturday afternoon of Miss Phyllis Doreen Goodall, second daughter of Mr & Mrs Goodall of Park Road, Blockley, and Mr Peter Alan Horne, youngest son of Mr & Mrs P Horne of 9 Gordon Gardens, Edgware, Middlesex.  The ceremony was performed by the Vicar, Reg J G Jeffreys.
